A 2010 Tim Burton film based on Lewis Carroll's book of the same name.
< read all 39 reviews Alice in Wonderland was entertaining enough, but it was not what I would have expected from a Tim Burton film. It doesn't have the same quirkiness of his other works. I am usually a fan of Tim Burton films, but I felt like this one was missing something. The storyline was well developed and was about Alice going back to Wonderland for a second time. Some of the actors did not perform as well as the usually do. Johnny Depp played the Mad Hatter, but he didn't seem completely mad. He seemed scatter brained but not the way I pictured the Mad Hatter being. It is also not Anne Hathaway's best performance. She doesn't show a lot of personality, and something about the way she always has her hands up drove me crazy. Overall, the film is worth watching once, but I would never buy it.
