My Father Broke His Arm Here!

Pros: Live stunts; Fun for Everyone; Indiana Jones theme

Cons: Kind of Long...

My father works at Disney, so I get to go to the parks for free whenever I go to visit him. He used to work at the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. during one performance, he was sitting in the catwalks, and the trapdoor sprung and snapped his arm, breaking it in three places.

That's only half of the Danger you'll see during any performance of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! Several of the famous scenes from Indiana Jones are re-enacted during this production. From stealing the idol and out-running the boulder to the fist fight on the moving plane, you'll enjoy the stunts performed live for you.

There's even audience interaction! Ten people are selected from the audience to be a part of the stunt show. They're taken backstage, put into costume, and given direction. A friend of mine was selected when I went with a bunch of people for spring Break, and he said he had the best time! It was cool for him to be up close. When I go next weekend, I'm going to try (or make Dionne25 try) to get picked as a volunteer.

It's a great show for the kids and adults. Don't sit too close, though-- You won't be able to see all of the action. plus, the fire gets pretty hot. You're in the shade, so it's a nice break from the Orlando heat. Besides, you get to sit for a little while, rather than walking around and standing on line.

It's not a must-see, but it's a nice show if you have the opportunity.

Right next to the entrance of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Disney Hollywood Studios there is a sign you can feel free to ignore. What the area appears to be is an excavation site of a archeologist dig, with a rope extending out for you to grab and pull… and you should do just that.      If you listen closely before you pull the rope (note, the word “NOT” is crossed out, so go ahead) you can hear what sounds like people working below you. Once …
