The best is Babylon 5 The original Battlestar Galactica. Space 1999 I just stop watching bad shows and don't do enough research to find the worst.

Oh yes, Space 1999! I loved Gerry Anderson's work on this one. There was the British knock-off UFO that wasn't up to 1999's standards. The original BSG I felt was "OK" for its time but was a bit of a rip off of the Star Wars films released at the same time. I liked the gritty new BSG better. Bad shows: Howza bout "It's About Time." Or "Seven Days"?

"It's About Time" Talk about TIME WARPS. I watched that when it first aired. As soon as I read your post the theme song started playing in my head. I remember thinking it was funny. But I usually don't classify comedy as science fiction. "Seven Days" does not ring a bell.

No problem. I remember It's About Time, too. Seven Days I think was on ABC back in the late 90s or so, where a guy would stop disasters by going back in time 7 days since that was the limit of the technology.
To answer my own question, two favorites come to mind: The reimagined Battlestar Galactica with its gritty scenes and relevant dialogue, and the original series Star Trek. I was never a fan of Mork & Mindy, and had an interest in My Favorite Martian as a child, but now it is not interesting.
