Can the whole Matrix Trilogy count as one. If not The Abyss is better than just Matrix #1. I just had to be more than ordinarily complicated.

Abyss was pretty cool. My fav is still The Forbidden Planet from the 1950s.

Has to be the original 1956 "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" or "12 Monkeys".

The original Planet of the Apes. Can't think of any other single film that rates higher but if I do, I will re-answer.

For thinking, it is "2001" but for action and tension it is "Aliens"
