While working as a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist with male inmates at the Correctional Center, I had the ability of communicating with them on confidential stuff that mattered such as HIV counseling and getting important medical information from those that refused to reveal to anyone else. A 15 minute conversation would turn into an hour long one as they felt free to open up to me. This was a skill I was most proud of and I would love to be able to improve even more on it. It made me feel good that I made a difference for many of those guys.

That's a fantastic skill and work, Brenda! I'm sure you made a major life-saving difference in a lot of people's lives that wouldn't have had access to that info.

Thanks Sam - it was great - my Supervisor called me "The Infectious Disease Lady" cuz I loved the counseling so much LOL
That is nice. Making people find their way is indeed a skill.

Thank you -- it is a pleasure to come home from work (well, when I was working LOL) and know I helped at least one person; I used to call them "My Little Criminals" - that was the most rewarding job ever and I still miss it after 3 years. Thanks Will...
I could say DJing but, that would be obvious. I think maybe it's my ability to be a chameleon and read the situation/people well enough to know how to act.
