Modern Family is an American comedy-drama TV series that debuted in the fall of 2009.  The show debuted with such rave reviews that it won an Emmy and is currently in its second season.  The show's storyline revolves around three families who are all related to each other.  There is one more traditional family with both parents and three kids, plus a family with an older husband and a much younger wife, and a family that consists of a gay couple with an adopted baby.
