Thanksgiving Themed Comic Book Characters!

  • Nov 22, 2011
We Americans, always look forward to Thanksgiving. But I've always thought about which Heroes would enjoy this holiday the most. Well, there are those who I think would be right at home during this holiday and so this is what had inspired this list! Please keep in mind that no character has ever done a Thanksgiving comic (Howard the Duck did), but several have appeared in a story that uses this holiday as a backdrop. I just want to make a "gag" list. Happy Thanksgiving!
Matter Eater Lad (Legion of Super-Heroes)
He'll be so handy during thanksgiving...he'll consume all left-overs and plates! So, no need to clean up the dishes....

Shaman (Alpha Flight)
He's Native American and so he is going to be on this list! His spells and potions can make the turkey cook faster!
Captain Britain
The first settlers in the U.S. were English, so he can have Thanksgiving! Captain America can have Independence Day....
Volstagg (Asgardian)
Just look at this voluminous warrior poet....he would love Thanksgiving!

Snowbird (Alpha Flight)
She's a shape changer and has control over her size....imagine a Whale-sized Turkey that says gobble-gobble!!
Ripclaw (Cyber Force)
He's Native American and his claws can carve the turkey easily!

Scott Pilgrim
He's a slacker and he's Canadian... but his name has a strong Thanksgiving theme!

Peter Porker The Spectacular Spider-Ham
He's the Spider-Ham!! Don't like turkey? Maybe Ham is your thing and this Pork has the proportionate powers of a spider LOL!

We need a super-hero with a bird-theme...or wings....wonder if we can get this Thanagarian lawman to say "gobble gobble"?

The Wasp
She is rich, loves shopping and a fashion designer...she would do a lot of Black Friday Shopping!!

Aunt May makes a killer stuffing...so Peter likes this Holiday!
The Huntress
No reason why she would be included in a list with a Thanksgiving theme, but if she was a real person, Helena Bertinelli will be my date for Thanksgiving dinner.

What did you think of this list?

The Huntress is a good choice for a date, but I'd have to go with Mockingbird. Then again, if she ate turkey, would that be cannibalism???
November 25, 2011
LOL! that is true, that may be cannibalism! I like her too, especially these days...

The list contains a fine cast of characters.
