Speech Bubbles: Comics & Graphic Novels
Comic Fan Talk About Comic Books!
a question by Jan 24, 2011
Comic books and graphic novels today come in as many genres as all other forms of literature, films, and television series. Typically when one thinks of comics, they first imagine superhero stories, science fiction, fantasy and horror comics, and obviously comedic stories. Currently our community is focusing primarily on books with fairly dark subject matter. What other comics for adults would you like to see get more prominent treatment within the community?

History. For example I recently leafed through a graphic novel about "Vlad the Impaler" that was very accurate regarding his brutality. I also examined another that was about the Hellenic Wars. Although these wars are also somewhat dark matter. I thought both were quite good.

More adult variations of super-hero books. Zombie comics as well as occult ones. There is a lot I can mention, but you'll just see them once I get around to reviewing comic books in a regualr basis again.
