I created this community exclusively for reviewing and discussing mature comic books, graphic novels & manga. I've done this because while the influence of graphic storytelling has overlapped with other media, I wanted this community to cover graphic literature and the writers and artists who create it. However, while I don't accept reviews on other mediums here, I would like to discuss film and television adaptations within the community. How do people feel about this?

Count, I have to agree that your community is strong enough to handle the weight of including television and film adaptations based on this medium we all adore. After all, to my reasoning, who better to chime in on whether or not such adaptions are accurate/ worthy of the name they carry than those who are devoted to the source material? No exaggeration, a lesser community would raise my doubts but this place here has the clout and levelheadedness to bring only insight to the formula.
Although sadly I'm not a member, I would like to comment, if that's OK. :)
I think you should do it. Comic books have been a gold mine of material for Hollywood, authors, and even Broadway plays. I think having discussions or even reviews especially with the mature comics material would be wise. I say go for it. It's worked for me.
Well, it is up to you. But discussion means reviews so you may want to re-think that carefully. I have quite a few news about certain things too...and I don't know if I should put it under here or not. I would say go for it...
