What non-superhero comic books, graphic novels, or manga would you like to see adapted into films or television series?

Nope, American filmmakers should stay away from manga; let the Japanese do their own thing with them. As for other mediums....Preacher, "Chew", a legitimate version of HELLBLAZER by the UK and maybe Y and Platinum Grit.

Were it faithfully adapted by someone in possession of a legitimate cultural perspective and a functioning brain, Cerebus the Aardvark could be a great satirical epic, perhaps one better suited to televised serials than a feature film series. It oughtn't be entrusted to an American production, or anyone who hasn't Dave Sim's personal approval.

Someone like Nobuhiko Obayashi or Kiyoshi Kurosawa could probably accommodate Narumi Kakinouchi's Vampires Miyu and Yui manga to challenging pictures.

A non-animated Archie series might be good.
