I enjoyed season one of Transformers Prime that I was eager to see just what would happen with season two. I wasn’t disappointed at all.
Smokescreen, Skyquake, Wheel jack (re-introduced from season one), the Insecticons and Shockwave all make appearances and boy, they were such good episodes. While season one dealt with the relationships and how Team Prime handled things, it was effective in expressing the nobility of the Autobots, season two had less human interactions and gave the viewer a glimpse of the war itself.
This season was all about hunting ancient cybertronian relics, and weapons of war. The season is more action-packed. It also hit the right areas in themes such as heroism, sacrifice and betrayal. It had a great opening and the final episode is a killer! So--how come Michael Bay can’t create something this good? I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to Transformers mythos but I was impressed. [4 ½ Out of 5 Stars] Full review coming soon.
