Good Action and Special Effects

  • May 3, 2009

I gave this movie 3 1/2 stars because of the action and special effects! There were also two great characters introduced (a gorgeous woman vampire slayer who is deadly with a high tech bow and arrow) and a guy (an ex-vampire, turned wise-cracking vampire slayer) as helpers to Blade in his war on the vampire nation.

In this one the vampires sensing they are losing, search out the original vampire of their species (he was Dracula among his many other identities). They hope that through him they will achieve the ability to be out in the light, making them truely immortal! The slayers on the other hand, are seeking this Dracula to use his blood to destroy all the world's vampires.

The fight scenes get a little corny (a la Kill Bill) at times but they are well choreographed to strong rock guitar music. The movie is not as good as the prior two but it is better than a lot of the action films, especially the zombie films that Hollywood seems to be spitting out today.

Stylish, fun, ooky and action filled monstar mash with Wesley Snipes returning as the "Daywalker" to battle mutated vampires. Awesome.

This time around, a new threat is emerging that can destroy everyone (including vampires). After a rough night of slaying the undead, a group of the largest Vampire Clan wants a meeting with the man. They give him an offer that if he refuses will spell the end of life as we know it. Factoring in Blade' hated for the …

Pros: Good FX and action.     Cons: Not much story     The Bottom Line: Good action and FX all it really needed was a top notch story to send it to classic status.     Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot. With the phenomenal success of “Blade” it was only a matter of time before a sequel hot the screen. For those readers unfamiliar with the original, the story revolved around the title character, Blade …
