Chestnut Square Historic Village, located southeast of McKinney's historic downtown square, is a collection of historic buildings which comprise a venue for community events as well as private functions. The buildings origins range from 1850 - 1930 and are arranged on attractively landscaped grounds with a canopy of mature shade trees. The McKinney Farmer's Market is held each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until noon, from April through October. Check the website for exact startiing and ending dates.
Local and organic meat, dairy and produce vendors are on site each week. Other products such as artisan soaps, dog biscuits, condiments, and more are usually available.

McKinney's Farmer's Market has blossomed into a wonderful weekly event, drawing vendors and customers from many surrounding communities.
