While many know and love Mark Hamill best as Luke Skywalker from the original Star Wars Trilogy, I think Hamill's best contribution to the entertainment world is the voice of the Joker in the Batman franchise. No joke, he was the best Joker in the entire Batman universe. Here's a list of Hamill's contributions in the Batman franchise (these are all tip-top pieces of work).
Batman: The Animated Series Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker Batman: Arkham Asylum Batman: Arkham City

Yeah, he's definitely among my faves, but I prefer Frank Welker's voice work on Transformers. He was just awesome. But Hamill, his Joker laugh leaves me in stitches whenever I hear it.
not sure, but didn't Hamill suffer an accident before he shot Return of the Jedi?

Prior to his final day of shooting for A New Hope, Hamill sustained a fractured nose and cheekbone in a car accident, which necessitated some minor cosmetic surgery. Rumors pertaining to both accident and operation abounded during the '80s and '90s; Hamill heard horrible notions from fans, some of whom absurdly believed that he'd staggered away from the vehicle by the roadside after his face had been torn off!
Hamill's efficaciously manic Joker is but one among literally dozens of roles that he's ably voiced for children's and adult cartoons alike. He may well give Frank Welker a run for his money!

Agreed, Robert. I know Hamill has done some voice work for English dubbing for some Studio Ghibli films as well.
