Sharon Tate was an American actress whose career really took off after several small television roles established her as film worthy. Her many comedic performances put her on the map as one of Hollywood's new up and comers.

Along with her many TV and film roles, she was also the face of Cover Girl and several other modeling campaigns.

In 1968, she married director Roman Polanski. When she was eight and half months pregnant, she was murdered in her own home, along with four other people, by cult followers of Charles Manson.
