Squeaky voices are surprisingly good

The squeaky voices of the "chipmunks" are surprisingly entertaining and addictive. My wife and I couldn't stop humming the "Christmas" and "Witch Doctor" songs for weeks after seeing the movie. However, there is a wide variety of songs, not all of which are as good. I'd recommend just download the songs you like, rather than getting the whole album.
