Boney James is simply the best sax player around today. The title instrumental is a track entitled "Contact". This song is upbeat and groovy. I like the electric guitar playing on this tune. This song really energizes me. Boney can also perform the smooth tunes. The best example of this is track "Spin". It is very relaxing. Mario is my favorite vocalist on this record. "That Look On Your Face" is a groovy dance tune that is enhanced by Boney's sax playing. Boney makes his sax cry on the track "Cry". This song sounds so beautiful. I like this track very much. "When I Had The Chance" is a smooth jam. Latoya Luckett provides sweet vocals on this song. This song has a romantic tone to it that I really like. Donell Jones is a great R and B singer. He lends his vocal talents on Close To You. This is a very sensual song. I like Boney's sax playing with the piano playing on this cut. "Deep Time" is a very reflective tune. This is the kind of song that I like to listen to after a hard day at work. Heather Headley provides funky feisty vocals on the track "I'm Waiting". I like the spirit she sings with on this cut. I don't know the significance of the songs "There and Back" or "Everything Matters", but they are two cuts with a subtle smooth tone. I enjoy listening to these last two tracks so much. "Contact" is an absolute pleasure to listen to.
