The album was recorded between 1969-1971. The earliest recorded track was the Beatles cover of "Hey Jude". Elvis Now reached Gold Record status during it's initial release.
Elvis Now was a studio album of new material released by Elvis Presely in 1972. The vocals on the track feature a invigorating and enthusiastic Elvis who's strong vocals are showcased by an excellent production from Felton Jarvis and an interesting cover of The Beatles "Hey Jude". Presley also covers a Gordon Lightfoot tune (Early Mornin' Rain) as well. I highly advise you to check out this release from the Elvis 75 collection. You can find this album along with a dozen others that have been digitally remastered to audio perfection in the bargin bin at Wal-Mart. But unlike most of the music you'll find in there, the quality is top notch and they don't sound muffled or lo-fi.
A lot of Elvis' previous releases of his later work on CD has been a bit dodgy in the audio department but if you enjoy his music then by all means check out the rest of the Elvis 75 collection. You'll be impressed by not only his studio performances but the awesome digital remaster work on these discs.

This disc contains one of my all-time favorite tunes "Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear To Tread) which was a big hit for Ricky Nelson in the early '60s. Love that tune!
