The YYY's best album and a highlight of 2009.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a band that I've always liked, but I became much more impressed with them after hearing It's Blitz! Rather than continue on their alternative rock path, they opted to take a different route. Their origins can still be heard in the songs, but the album is filled with keyboards, electronics, and synthesized strings.
