An album by Aerosmith
Jeff Beck is a guitar legend. I can think of a better person to pay tribute to the musical legend of Les Paul. This disc includes excellent instrumentals like the romantic somber "Sleep Walk" and the groovy television theme "Peter Gunn". These are two instrumental pieces that I have heard for years, but I never knew the title to them. I love the sax playing on Peter Gunn very much. "Apache" is another instrumental piece that I really like. This piece conjures up the spirit of adventure for me. Jeff is assisted on this disc by some talented singers. Irish singer Imelda May is a very moving singer. She performs a sensual cover of the classic tune "Walking In The Sand" that is very enjoyable to listen to. She also lends her vocals talents on the tune "How High The Moon". This is a fun upbeat song. Darrel Higham lends his talents on the tune "Train Kept A Rollin'". This song is upbeat and rocking. I love this track. Gary US Bonds delivers a crowd pleaser with the tune "New Orleans". This is a song that gets me moving. Brian Setzer performs the song "Twenty Flight Rock". His electric guitar playing makes this track special. This song pumps me up with such vitality. This is one of my favorite cuts on this disc. I love this music on this disc very much. I missed Jeff Beck performing these songs in New York, but honestly listening to this CD is the next best thing.
