Pros: Beautiful lyrics, amazing songs, great vocals from Chris Martin, wonderful musicians...     Cons: None. Honestly ;)     The Bottom Line: Coldplay has quickly become one of my favorite bands. But it worries me that their first work may be their best. My verdict is still unknown for X&Y...     If you remember my last review of a Coldplay album, you'll note that it wasn't exactly favorable. Coldplay's multi-platinum debut "Parachutes" is a wonder. Granted, it doesn't have the feeling of freedom that one gets while listening to "Rush of Blood to the Head"; nor does it have the strength or power of the songs in "X&Y". But this is where it all began, and in the minds of a majority of people this remains the band's best album.    It's hard to pick out the best songs of the album, as they're all nearly equal.
