The Police - SYNCHRONICITY (1983)

By the release of SYNCHRONICITY, their fifth album, The Police were the biggest band in the world. Strong On Creativity

I am not the biggest fan of the Police at this juncture. However, I will admit that there are many creative moments on this Synchronicity Release. I tend to prefer the more eclectic songs therefore my favorite track is the extra CD track, Murder By Numbers. The jazz drumming by Stewart Copeland is super and Sting sure is in fine voice on that track. Walking In Your Footsteps, Wrapped Around Your Finger, and Tea In The Sahara are other stimulating tracks that utilize some unconventional rhythms. … more
