Whereas Turnstiles was not the studio smash that The Stranger was, it definitely is loaded with excellent music. Of the eight songs I have to admit that every single one is excellent. On top of that the record just flows beautifully with many interesting rhthms from start to finish. Not to mention that the lyrics are incredibly catchy and the piano playing is quite sharp. If I were stuck on a desert island and had my choice of fifteen records this would surely be one.
