The Lakers are all good-looking, smart, and gentlemanly.
The Celtics are ugly (Robert Parish, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, etc), only barely somewhat smart, and boorish.
The Lakers have great fans who are not excessively fanatical about their team (basketball is but one thread in the rich tapestry of an Angeleno's civic life) and are generally well behaved.
The Celtics have rude fans who speak in an unintelligible accent and drink a lot.
The Lakers colors are purple and gold, the veritable hue of royalty.
The Celtic color is green, and I don't know about you but that just means puke to me. And boogers and greed and envy!
And on and on. Rajon Rondo, while a serviceable point guard (he's got pretty good averages in the playoffs this year, but whatever) unfortunately kind of looks a bit like a girl with his long eyelashes and delicate features. Have you ever seen Juwanna Man? Oh, and he like totally open-hand-slapped Brad Miller in the face in the Bulls/Celtics series.
I don't like this dude at all, but if he ever got traded or signed with the Lakers, I think he'd make an excellent addition to our team.
