Not the most talented writer in terms of pure literacy, but she knows how to weave a complex and imaginative story. When you're an author, that's what counts most if you're not trying to impress academic eggheads. The Harry Potter series is classic because it tells an imaginative story with unexpected twists that, ultimately, everyone can relate to when stripped of the elements that make it HARRY POTTER.
