I was born and raised in the 80s, but I didn't start listening to DM till my early 20s. I guess my teenie-bopper immaturity was never refined enough for Depeche.

DM has had over 45 singles and has been one of the most successful bands to come out of the 80s. Even in 2009, the band is coming back for another tour to promote their newest album "Sounds of the Universe".

When I initially decided to write this review, I was thinking of ways to describe DM to a non-listener. But in reality, there can be no comparison made to other bands. Depeche Mode is in a class of its own, creating sounds, writing lyrics, and delving into topics that only other artists have begun to follow.
