The Auld Dubliner is an Irish pub in Long Beach, Ca. It is located at the Pike and is known foe the dark-wooden interior of the cozy pub was constructed in Dublin, dismantled, and shipped to Long Beach to be reconstituted. Touring Irish bands on Thursdays through Saturdays, room-temperature Guinness, and a menu featuring bangers and boxties up the Irish ante, while veggie burgers and goat-cheese-stuffed chicken cater to the California crowd.

I have to admit, I’m a sucker for Irish pubs. While traveling through Europe, I had a saying that if we couldn’t find a good place to eat or drink, go to the local Irish pub.
