Heineken Light

A refreshing beer with a bite, all wrapped in a little green bottle.

Little green men? No, this isn't Absinthe but what is in the little green bottle is just as good!

This is in reference to the "light" version of the Heineken brand beer. Sorry have to keep in shape. I've tried many a beer from all parts of the good Earth, and so far it is my conclusion that Heineken is the best kick back beer I have tried. It gives off the same refreshment and "bite" as would a coca-ccola, so I label this the soda for the man. When guzzling, it has a nice light feel with no bitter aftertaste. The most important aspect of this beer is the "biteness" that it gives you with each sip. After each swallow the taste grips your tongue and slaps your mouth, and I love it. The light version, which is my favorite, is not diluted at all versus the other light counterparts. Overall excellent beer and my favorite.

You know, I honestly think the light version is better than Heine regular. As usually the case with light beers it tastes diluted, but I think the Heine light has more kick and bite than the regular, whereas the regular is more fuller if that makes sense. The light Heine feels like opening a fresh bottle of Pepsi, it has that same sort of pleasant bitterness if you know what I mean.

I had no idea they even made a light version of Heineken! Thanks for posting this. Is there any difference in taste between this and the regular stuff?
