I first had Mythos beer when I was in Santorini on my honeymoon five years ago. Mythos isn't going to win any awards at the next international lager competition but it certainly isn't going to gross anyone out either. As I sipped on my first bottle of Mythos Hellenic Lager Beer, I was reminded of my recent taste of Japan's Asahi Super Dry. This beer runs right down the middle of every road I could think of. Neither offensive nor outstanding; hoppy, slightly bitter but not overpowering; cool and refreshing! A good choice for a summer cold one!
