Sweet sweet beer, oh how light you aren't!

Yes, I like light beer, sue me. Somebody has to drink it, so if I can help you choose which light beer to drink if you so choose, well, I've done my job and that makes me happy.
Samuel Adams light is pretty even at the top of my favorite beers in general. Well, light beers really. It's in the class of "light beers that don't taste light". In some cases this is better than the regular, because if you are health conscious, like me, you will savor the beer all the more because you know you are in fact taking in less calories. So that, along with the taste makes it maybe better than its regular counterpart.

Ok, now on to what you really care about, the taste. The beer is one of the few light beers out there, and by few I mean in the top 5%, that doesn't use adjuncts to make their beers taste watery and/or bitter. Which equals a nasty light beer. Instead, Samuel Adams uses only the necessary ingredients, such as Hops and TWO-ROW malted Barley. What this means in laymen terms is you will be getting a beer that has a light sweetness going down and a lingering bold aftertaste that IS NOT bitter. The beer is far from watered down, with its rich texture and a warm, emollient ale taste. Like I said before this is at a tie as my favorite light beer on the market. Every time I drink this, I have to hold myself back from just sipping it so the beers last longer, because they do taste that good. You will be drinking a strong beer that has all the characteristics of a full beer, with no holds barred, but getting less than 100 calories a bottle, could you not ask for more? No, you really couldn't.

So I tried this beer purely on your recommendation, and it is my new favorite! My husband drinks Coors Light- and that just taste like water to me, so thanks for the review, I have a new fav!
