I enjoy photography as a hobby, and often read photography related books. The books I choose are typically of a technical nature so I can better understand the tools I use or about composition so I can improve my creative eye. When asked to read and review 101 Quick and Easy Secrets to Create Winning Photographs, I was excited for the opportunity even though I felt I was more advanced than the audience for the book.    This book is designed to show beginner to intermediate photographers …

As should be obvious from the title this book is a collection of tips for taking better images. Composition, lighting, perspective, camera settings, polarizing filters and post processing (Phototshop) all get their due. For the novice or intermediate photographers who wonder why their shots just don't look as good as they thought they ought to, it should be of great help.    All the tips or "secrets" are presented clearly with illustrative photos. That's both the strength and …
