This novel by Chilean-born author Roberto Bolaño comprises five self-contained parts--The Part about the Critics, The Part About Amalfitano, The Part About Fate, The Part About the Crimes, and The Part About Archimboldi. Bolaño's five-part novel sprawls over Europe and Mexico, from WWII until now.
