The author shows promise in her prose about life

  • Jul 16, 2010
While the verse in this book is not deeply moving, it does stir some of your base emotions. Tinto demonstrates some fledgling talent as a poet; her verses cover many of the aspects of human existence. Fantasy, failure, despair, challenging time s of change, grief over loss, the memories we hold dear, the memories we would prefer that we lose, simple pleasures, deep and complex pleasures, love, friendships, death, birth in many forms, pain and just being yourself are all the topic of a poem.
Written as a form of personal therapy in order to deal with difficult times, the author captures a great deal of the meaning of life as expressed in our experiences.
