Heartbreaking. Beautiful. Poetic. What I appreciated most about this book was the honesty in which Thomas discusses her experiences with her husband, the difficulty of being in a care taking role that you never signed up for, never could have imagined.   A Three Dog Life is a memoir filled with such valuable insights that I want to share it with everyone, but I don't want to loan it out (my mother always said not to loan any book or money that you actually want back) so, you'll have to …
