While Steven Rinella's "American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon" might appear to be nothing more than a book about hunting and successfully killing a buffalo, the reader needs only to delve into the first few pages to realize that this ain't just another episode of Buck McNeely (non-hunters will probably miss this reference).
