My water aerobics class loves this exercise tape

  • Jul 26, 2010
My water aerobics class has used the Wet and Wonderful Water Exercises tape for over a year, now, and we prefer this audio tape over any of the water aerobics DVDs that we have tried. All of the exercises are performed in waist-to-chest-deep water, and none of them require you to get your hair-do wet.

My class consists entirely of ladies over 60 years old (with maybe one or two exceptions, who don't show up very often). I'd say the average age is more like 70. The oldest among us just turned 90 last year and has to use a cane on dry land.

Billie Jo's voice is very clear and her background music isn't too obnoxious. The exercises aren't particularly difficult: you can perform them according to your own exercise and aerobic needs. The two sessions on our tape run a total of about 45 minutes, roughly twenty minutes per session. Most of the latter exercises are performed at the edge of the pool, although some of the ladies prefer to use noodles, rather than hold onto the edge of the pool.
