Beautifully written. Awe-inspiring tale. Be sure to read a book that has both parts, though - not just the Childhood / Youth one. The second part is absolutely necessary for the story to be complete, and it makes the meaning far larger than just racial oppression. +5 means it's been one of the most potent reads in my short life.
