Growing up, Roald Dahl was my favorite author.  By the time I was in 5th grade, I read all of his books, and even got my hands on a biography about him.  "Boy" was the last book of his I read during this phase, and I truly believe it is one of his most magical and interesting writings.       Dahl recounts his childhood growing up in England, telling stories of his siblings, schooling and sweets.  Many tragedies touched his famly when he was young, …

I first read this book when I was around 12 years old.  About 10 years ago!  I had read a couple of Dahl books before and thought I would check out the aptly titled "Boy".      I continue to come back to it and reread every few years or so and thus decided to review this book.      If you've ever read/like any Roald Dahl, this is an excellent book for you.  It's an autobiography about his life as a child up into his twenties.  …
