A number of modern models and newer ones are listed. i.e.

(2) the Intrapreneur like [...]
(3) the traditional Entrepreneur
(4) the Investor
(5) the Consultant
(6) the Designer
(7) the Conscientious Entrepreneur (Grameen Phone)

The book describes how organizations and businesspeople
capture value. i.e.
o customer segments
o value propositions
o channels
o customer relations
o revenue streams
o key resources
o key activities
o partners
o cost structures

The authors describe the long tail which has a small number
of best business models in order to maximize revenues
or revenue streams. On LuLu.com virtually any serious
writer can publish . The famous LEGO generates revenues
from a plethora of customer designs.

Overall, the book integrates classic business models
with the newer ones just coming out of the incubator.
As such, the author provides us with useful and practical
