Excellent rendering of a classic tale

This series of classic graphic novels just goes from strength to strength. It's obvious that the publishers seek out some of the finest graphic artists to render these stories to the reading public. There's no sense in speaking of the book itself, for most readers are fairly familiar with the Tom Sawyer story, if only from the original Classics Illustrated edition of many years ago.

With the extra length of these books much more of the tale can be told, and there is a richness there that rounds out the familiar parts that we know with other parts of which we were most likely unaware. I look forward avidly to these graphic novels, and eargerly await the publication of each new entry into this series.
