This is a new production of the first Classics Illustrated ever published, and the Papercutz people have done an excellent job on it. Not only is the artistry excellent, but it is considerably longer than the usual graphic novel they publish by over 50 pages. The extra length was due to the decision to include as many of the book's plots as possible, and I believe that they have succeeded quite well.

We have the usual story of the meeting of the 4 main protagonists, and the background telling the reader of the tenseness between the King and Cardinal Richelieu. There is action and adventure on every page, and the reader is swept up in the excitement. I know that I was, for I read the entire book in one sitting of several hours, and it was time well worth spending. I look forward to every Deluxe issue in this series, and I think that you will also.
