Possibly the greatest novel ever written. It has a great story arc, well-developed and interesting characters, as well as a great commentary on Russian society of the mid-1800's.

This is a psychological drama well worth reading, in terms of depth of feeling and the question of a conscience and moral angst over what is right or wrong
