Cry Revenge is about two friends who are always scheming about ways to make a fast buck. Curtis is the smarter of the two and after they beat some Chicanos in a game of dice, he decides to use his wining and get into the dope game. Curtis' partner, Dan slowly gets more strung out on smack as his friend starts selling the stuff with the town's connection Fat George. Soon Curtis is making some decent money and living the life whilst Dan becomes another junkie with a big mouth and jonesing for more smack. His antics get Curtis into some deep trouble that becomes a graphic and bloody affair that goes way beyond the pale.

Another grim and tragic tale from the pen of Donald Goines. A very realistic and all too common of a tale that shows what happens when families of enemies become pawns in a street war. Situations like this are all too real and Goines goes the extra mile in adding realism, three dimensional characters and authentic dialog in the novel which ends in a Lovecraftian way,
