I'm enjoying a mini vacation in Florida and thought a novel about the Florida panther would be an entertaining bonus.

The story opens when a man is killed and officials aren't sure if it was from a human or byea a Florida panther.

Officials call in news media to warn the public in case this was a renegade panther.  Almost immediately, TV newsman Matt Bowens notices something about the body that gives a clue.

Emotions run high about relocating the panther from the Everglades region, killing the animal or letting it be. In the meanwhile, we follow an investigation led by Matt, into the history of the man killed.

This was an easy read with predictable results. I applaud the author for writing a story about an endangered species.
