Daddy Cool is a novel about an aging hit man, his problematic social life and conscience. He has lived a good life, icing people for money and his side projects keep his life busy. But the rebellious nature of his daughter (whom he freely admits spoiled too much), fearing that he's getting too old for his line of work and the headache of living with two lazy stepsons weighs heavy on his mind. How does a middle aged contract killer cope with such a mid-life crisis?

A gritty and graphic novel written by Donald Goines, who's no nonsense style of writing makes this book a highly entertaining fast read. The action jumps off of the pages. Daddy Cool is filled with unforgettable characters, steamy street lingo wrapped up in a Shakespearean tragedy, Life is tough for an old player with a conscience. If you enjoy a good book that doesn't pussyfoot around and is unnecessarily padded out with nonsensical filler then you'll want to pick up a copy of Daddy Cool.
