A complex and enjoyable story

This is by far Dean Koontz' best book. It has a tear along story line, the obligatory evil people, and the equally important faithful cute dog. It would make a great movie. But importantly, in terms of a novel, it allows you to identify with the characters, and feel that what happens to them is important.

A great rainy Sunday afternoon book!
