This is a lovely story about the survival of a plucky little cat left to die in a library drop box. A librarian finds him and turns him into the library's mascot. Before my own introduction to cats a few years ago through saving three strays, I probably wouldn't have bothered to read this book. But after saving three kittens from their dead mother, this story pulled at my heart strings.
