HealthyRache, maybe not unique...it was the first indepth book I've read about Raw Foods, so I found it informative, but if you have a vast knowledge, maybe not so much. Read other reviews if you wonder. Bohemianliving. I'll tell you what. If you go all raw and don't lose weight there is seriously something wrong.: ) Raw limits and pretty much destroys the possibility of processed yuck. Since making changes to eat whole, rich and least processed as possible in July I've lost just shy of thirty pounds. If I went all raw I'd lose more. Anastasia, my friend has gluten issues and she really struggles with staying above 100. But you could still benefit from looking into what you could add to your diet. Thanks for the links. I'll def look those up.

I was always curious about the raw food diet and have researched it a little. Unfortunately I can't really do it because I would loose too much weight, I am trying to gain some! Plus I am breastfeeding, I eat just about every 2 hours and I am always hungry, a raw food diet would not work for me. But I did come across an interesting anecdotal experiment where a raw food diet has shown to reverse diabetes. There is also a woman I am following on Tweeter who has a raw food blog, she has lost a significant amount of weight. Here is the raw food social network.

I remember someone saying that not only was this a good way to stay healthy but a good way to shed extra pounds!
