I'll cut to the chase. If you are internet savvy and spend a lot of time online, then this book probably doesn't have many insights for you. If you are somewhat new to the internet and/or Facebook, then this could be a useful tool for you. As with any publication of this sort, it will be out of date within several months. For a new user, Facebook can be a bit overwhelming. Facebook's own Help resource is, to be charitable, weak. "Facebook: The Missing Manual" is hand holding for those who need it. If you are one of those people who absolutely must have a manual for everything you take on, then Facebook: The Missing Manual will complete your collection. This is one of those books that documents the extremely obvious. Don't know how to set up an account?
