Garden of Shadows is the final chapter of the Dollanganger series.  Written by V. C. Andrews' ghost writer this novel is filled with quite a few inconsistencies and most of the story doesn't fit in very well with the first four books.  We learn about the background history of the evil grandmother Olivia and how she became a cruel and iron fisted bible thumper and the story of Malcolm and his children.  The story line is retconned to fit the ghost writer's version on the series changing …
